Andrei Ardelean, PhD, obtained his BSc in Applied Electronics from The Polytechnic University of Timișoara (UPT) in 2015, an MSc in Microelectronics from Delft University of Technology (TUDelft) in 2017, and a PhD from École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) in 2023.
In 2016, during his Master’s studies, he interned at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. He has made significant contributions to the design and testing of the first megapixel SPAD camera and developed the first fully-reconfigurable SPAD processing array.
He now serves as the co-founder and CTO of NovoViz.
