Review Process

All submissions were handled through the EDAS conference management system and assigned to one of the three tracks. Each paper was reviewed by at least two reviewers with expertise in the topic, members of the Technical Program Committee or additional reviewers, in a single-blind process. Reviewers assessed originality, technical quality, relevance to the symposium scope, clarity of presentation and adequacy of references. Final decisions were taken by the Technical Program Chairs on the basis of the reviews. No paper was accepted with fewer than two reviews; papers outside the symposium scope or not following the submission guidelines were rejected without review. All papers were checked for similarity with previously published work using iThenticate, integrated in EDAS.

Publication Ethics

  • Presentation. Submitting a paper is a commitment that, upon acceptance, the authors will submit the camera-ready version and present the paper at the conference. Each accepted paper must be covered by at least one author registration. Papers not presented at the conference will not be submitted to IEEE Xplore.
  • Originality. Submissions identified as double submissions to other conferences and/or journals are rejected.
  • Conflicts of interest. Reviewers are not assigned papers written by co-authors or colleagues from their own institution.
  • Use of AI. The use of AI-generated content (text, figures, images, code) must be disclosed in the acknowledgments section, naming the AI system and the sections concerned, as required by IEEE.
  • Corrections and retractions follow the IEEE policies for conference publications.
